Walking Path Mission

May 9, 2007 by brooksg

The residents of Forest Park Southeast along with partnering institution, Washington University Medical Center have come together to implement a 2 mile walking path in the Forest Park Southeast neighborhood. The walking path’s objective is to: 1) increase physical fitness and exercise, 2) build community cohesiveness, 3) put more eyes and ears on the streets, thus increasing safety and security, and 4) connect the parks and green spaces within the community.

The walking group meets every Thursday at 6:30PM. Please RSVP with Brooks Goedeker at 747-2332 or goedekeb@wustl.edu if you will be attending the walk.
